Kenny Farrell enters his 22nd season with the D-backs in 2019 and is responsible for advertising, promotions, fan development, CRM/database management and consumer research. Farrell also oversees the team’s Ticket Operations department where he spent his first 12 seasons with the organization. With a background in analytics, Farrell brings a data driven approach to the team’s marketing efforts. He led the development and rollout of internally developed BI tools to aide smart and swift decision making needed for the organization.Farrell’s career began in the team’s Ticket Operations department where he served in various roles supporting the team’s sales efforts including managing the team’s phone sales efforts during its 2001 World Series Championship run.
Farrell became Director of Ticket Operations in 2006 before building a Business Analytics department in 2010.
Farrell is a graduate of Arizona State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication in 1997 and Masters of Arts in Communication in 2005. He resides in Phoenix with his wife, Leslie who is also part of the D-backs family, serving as the team’s Clubhouse Creative Project Manager.
