Meet the Open Hearts Team

Lisa Miller, is a tax manager at Baldwin Moffit Behm, LLP. She focuses on income tax compliance and planning for small businesses, business owners, and high net worth individuals. She is a strong advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, having been a regional leader in her prior employer’s LGBTQ+ employee networking group. Prior to re-entering public accounting in 2015, Lisa was a “work-at-home mom” for 16 years, where she divided her time between taking care of family and doing bookkeeping, payroll, and income tax compliance for a small group of clients. 

She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Taxation at Arizona State University. In addition to her role as board member at Open Hearts, she volunteers for Junior Achievement, presenting lessons on work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy in local schools.
