For the past 21 years, Patricia Jimenez has served on the Isaac Elementary School District Governing Board, maintaining an unwavering enthusiasm, love, and passion for the families she supports. Holding the position of Board President thirteen times prior, she currently serves as a Board Member.
Patricia humbly and graciously accepts responsibility for educational, safety, health, and wellness decisions that directly impact the nearly 4,700 students and their families within her sphere. A proud alumna of Butler Elementary and Isaac Middle School, and a resident of Maryvale for over 30 years, she raised her two children in the district, both of whom attended Isaac schools and have since earned their college degrees, continuing to give back to the community.
As a steadfast and instrumental leader, Patricia is committed and connected to the needs of the Isaac Community, believing in the importance of providing all students with a high-quality education that will lead them to a successful future.
Witnessing families and individuals overcome challenges and build brighter futures fuels Patricia’s passion for community service. The mission of Open Hearts, to grow hope, provide resources, and build healthy relationships for diverse communities in Arizona, deeply resonates with her. Her experience in leadership and service, coupled with her empathy and understanding of local needs, would allow her to significantly contribute to achieving this mission.
Beyond her professional life, Patricia enjoys hiking, dancing, and spending time with her family. Her 16-year career at Costco, currently as the Safety Coordinator, has instilled in her strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety and well-being, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Witnessing countless children overcome challenges and reach their full potential is why Patricia dedicates herself to community service. Open Hearts allows her to contribute to this ripple effect of hope and healing.
