Transitional Housing

Welcome to The Diamond, Open Hearts’ first transitional housing location.

On August 15, 2024 Open Hearts officially cut the ribbon on a new transitional housing facility named The Diamond. The Diamond offers 11 units and one resource center for unsheltered families and youth in transition (ages 18-24).

While in residence at The Diamond, guests will participate in a variety of programs geared toward empowering them for employment and permanent housing. Some of the programs include:

  • Life skills training
  • Financial literacy
  • Social hours to improve socialization
  • Psychiatric/mental health sessions
  • Health classes
  • Employment assistance
  • Introduction to community resources
  • Health and nutrition
  • Goal setting workshops
